Dr. Litke did a total hip replacement on me due to a somewhat early onset of osteoarthritis that had me walking with pain and unable to do some simple but important things like tie my left shoe. I was really slowing down from being a very active fifty-two-year-old man. She was recommended by my primary care physician, for whom she had done a knee surgery. My PCP said that Dr. Litke is an outstanding surgeon and “meticulous” in her practice, a great characteristic in a surgeon. I really liked Dr. Litke’s straight-forward communication style. She has always been ready to answer any questions and has done a great job in getting me back to my normal life. It so happens that I also have physical therapists in my family who also expressed a lot of confidence in Dr. Litke because they had seen her patients do very well after surgery. I am very glad to have had her do my surgery and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. I’ll also add that her PA and office staff are great. It’s a well run office that keeps their schedules very well, too. If I need to do anything else that Dr. Litke does in her practice, I’ll be back without hesitation.

My general physician recommended Dr. Litke because Dr. Litke had done her own knee surgery, so that’s a great start. I made the appointment, her staff was friendly and got me in right on time. Her XRay tech, Zach, came to see me and asked me a few questions and pulled up my X-rays. Then Dr. Litke came in and did a manual exam, checking out my range of motion in my hips. She took me over to my X-rays and showed me what was going on and encouraged me to start with a conservative, physical therapy approach. I really liked her. She was really friendly and open and came across as a physician with both a lot of experience (she’s been doing anterior approach hip replacements for 10 years) but still a great manner with her patients. The whole office seemed like a happy group, which probably says a lot. I’ll look forward to thanking my GP for recommending Dr. Litke and look forward to seeing her again if I need surgery.
